Jackie Simmonds is an award-winning UK artist, best known for her distinctive pastel paintings. Prints of her work have been published and distributed throughout the world. She has written 4 art instruction books and made 6 instruction videos.

' My paintings are a celebration of the world around me.  I am excited by the way light sparkles on water; how soft, dappled light transforms a scene; the crumbly texture of an old stone wall; the joy and innocence of youth.

I suppose my pictures are moments in time - moments of perceived beauty, which I try to capture and then share with you, the viewer.  If you enjoy the images, my pleasure is multiplied.'
